Where I’ve done things

By boboshady

I’ve been extremely fortunate in my professional life, having the opportunity to work with some amazing brands and people.

For instance, I cut my teeth in the world of development working for clients such as JJB, Princes Foods, Pataks and, through a branding partner, Tizer. I’ve worked with The Co-Op (Funeral Care and the Sports websites) and Thomas Cook Sports, and more recently I’m extremely happy to be working with Fairtrade, and I loved the 12 months I spent working on KPMG projects.

In all instances, it’s been real work too – I know people will add a company logo to their portfolio page when they produce a pitch or send an email, but in my case it’s been hands-on work at the very heart of each company’s digital presence. I’ve worked with each of them both at a technical level as a developer and as a project manager and strategist.

That’s just the names you might have heard of – I’ve worked with dozens, maybe hundreds of clients and by far and large loved every one of them. I’ve specified, designed, built and managed pretty much every type of system you could imagine from simple brochure and ecommerce sites to fully content managed and integrated systems. I have worked on projects that bring together several disparate systems into a seamlessly combined experience, in many cases when one or more of the systems are being developed by another party.

I am often able to walk down the high street or watch TV ad breaks and know I’ve been involved with at least one logo you’ll see. It’s a nice feeling :)

I just wanted to pass along a thank you for your step-by-step instructions on replacing the screen in the Asus eeePC 901. I don’t know what we would have done without it.
    Cheers,
